New Students

Welcome to Om Yoga, your new home for acro yoga, aerial yoga, and traditional floor yoga. Our classes are designed to be challenging, both mentally and physically, focused on the desire to grow your practice, both on the mat and in your every day life. There is a class for everyone, regardless of how many times you’ve stepped onto your mat. We encourage you to try a variety of classes to find the class and teacher that resonates with you.

We strive to create a community where everyone is encouraged to have their best personal yoga experience. Here are some suggestions to guide you through your journey with us.

  • Bring your beautiful self and a mat- if you own one – if not, you may use one of ours. We also have blocks, bolsters, and straps for you to use, free of charge.
  • Once you’ve arrived on your mat, simply relax. This is your practice so do what feels right for you. Go at your own pace, take a break when you need to, and remember to breathe. If you are unsure which class to take, we suggest Back to Basics.
  • Say “hi” to the smiling faces at the front desk. Let us know if we can be of any help.

Check out our monthly workshops designed to keep you informed and provide you with insight into a number of topics including meditation, health and nutrition, as well as a deeper understanding of the physical practice of yoga. If you have any questions about classes, or our studio, feel free to call or email.

Beyond Your mat

What does yoga beyond your mat mean? It’s yoga to supplement your everyday life. It’s yoga tailored for you. It’s thinking about how yoga helps you reach your goals. It’s what you need yoga to be for you.

The new year is traditionally a time to make changes and resolve to create better habits. These goals are set with the best of intentions, but unfortunately sometimes we waiver in our focus. We’ve implemented this program to help you define what yoga needs to be for you. The strength of yoga is that it can be whatever you need it to be.
